, it's not being reported, and it's not for lack of triyng by either local journalists or the candidate. The stories and limelight are the incumbent Liberals because they're spinning better and faster at the moment than are the other two opposition candidates. When the choice between stories is a funding announcement by the McGuinty gov't of millions to our region complete with photo op vs. a text rebuttal to an issue raised weeks ago the choice is the money story. While the PC candidate and the support base is working hard, the candidate is not being given free reign on communication with media and constituents. McGuinty on the other hand is letting his incumbents and candidates off their leashes. Big difference. The two opposition candidates have some catching up to do, but, as I've stated previously I expect the Liberals to lose based on their green energy and education (school closures) issues out this way. The counties are pretty much a lock, but the larger populated portions of the riding are too close to call. After the Liberals were here a few weeks ago handing out cash to our community, I couldn't believe my ears when someone I know to be a diehard conservative tell me that it's going to be hard to vote against the gift horse .I have to wonder how many more will be bought off. It's a real concern.20d8

I must say, that I feel bad for the Prime Minister. He worked so hard to keep Canada safe from the bigesgt recession since the second world war. The country ends up with the strongest economy in the world. The Prime Minister brings in a budget that was praised across the country. PM Harper has been dealing with all the termoil overseas and was strong on the world stage. He represented Canada with dignity and strength. He made the tough choices when they needed to be made. Today was a sad day in History for Canadians. During all the hard work done by PM Harper, he had to deal with the brewing Coalition and their antics for years, along with the lefty media and their dishonest lies. The PM also had to put up with all the Liberal special interest groups and their smears and slurs. The coalition talk about Democracy and ethics, which to me is so bizare. Our Canadian Govt. is taken down by those very same people with no Ethics, and democracy went out the window by their votes. Our Govt. taken down by votes from a separtist party who want to break up this country. The liberals and NDP together would not of had enough votes to do this on their own. How's that for rich? Bottom line, when I saw PM Harper make his announcement that the Govt. was over, I could see the disappointment in his eyes. Then I get to look at Michael Ignatieff, Jack Layton and Gilles Duceppe, and I felt sickened by what they have done. The ones happy by this is CBC/CTV acting very smug.I know that Canadians will not stand for this. I am so looking forward to end this nonsence, and finally see PM Harper with the majority he deserves, so he can continue on with the great job he has done for this Country, and those others being shown the door. PM Harper the most honest and decent Prime Minister in a decade.2231
